These are the photos I took today.
This is the studio where I shot my indoor photos.
I brought in a variety of coats for my models to change into for additional mise-en-scène.
One of my models is currently taking photos for her magazine, at the outdoor setting.
This is one of the pictures of my model. I like this photo because the focus is good, but there is a shadow. I could add this as my cover photo, but I'd need to use an exposure filter to lighten it on Photoshop.
I really like this photo of my model. She changed her coat here and added a scarf, and the focus is also good. I particularly like the background to this photo, because it is grimy and urban. You could definitely tell the genre of my music magazine with this type of background.
This is also a good photo, although I think it is weaker than the others because of the lack of poses onscreen. But, her expression is suitable for the intimidating artist style, so it's okay.
This photo is a bit different to the rest. It is a medium shot rather than a close up, but there is a similar issue to the previous photo, and that is the lack of body language. It doesn't really say much in regards to the theme, so I don't like it as much as the others.
After moving to the indoor setting, we began to take more photos. This is one of my favourites because there is very little shadow, and the quality and focus went really well.
This is the second indoor photo I took. I really like this picture because my model's expression and how there is hardly any shadow. I would have to crop this photo to remove the metal bar on the right, but I do think this photo is very successful.
I do like this photo, but I feel as if there's a slight disconnection because she isn't looking st the camera. Plus, the photo feels too playful for an alternative rock magazine.
